Position Qualification

Position Summary

The University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, NE is conducting a search for a dynamic cardiologist with a strong commitment to excellence in research, teaching and patient care to join a rapidly expanding advanced heart failure/transplant practice. The incoming faculty member will join a team of five other heart failure cardiologists working in partnership with a nationally known cardiovascular surgical team and a mature heart transplant and LVAD program. We are dedicated to the education of residents and fellows, and conduct a variety of research program built around the strengths and interests of the individuals in the group.

The prospective faculty member will enjoy a highly balanced work and call schedule consisting of outpatient and inpatient clinical services along with dedicated imaging laboratory assignments corresponding with area of expertise if desired. Many opportunities exist to engage in various research and education activities within the College of Medicine, residency and fellowship programs. Required Qualifications

MD, DO, MBBS or equivalent. Board certified/Board eligible in Cardiology with experience in transplantation and advanced heart failure management.
