The Kenneth G. Dixon School of Accounting is a professional school in a major public research university committed to teaching, research and service that advance the accounting discipline and prepare future leaders in business, government, and academia. We offer undergraduate, masters, and Ph.D. programs in accounting and are among the elite group of programs accredited by the AACSB.

The Opportunity

The Kenneth G. Dixon School of Accounting in the College of Business at the University of Central Florida invites applications for a tenure-earning assistant professor position. This opportunity is open to both newly minted and experienced faculty. Expected start date is fall 2023.

Minimum Qualifications

Applicants must have a Ph.D. in accounting (or closely related field) from an accredited institution in hand or by August 2023. In addition, applicants must demonstrate an ability to conduct high quality accounting research and a commitment to teaching excellence.

Preferred Qualifications

Preference will be given to applicants whose research interests complement those of our current faculty. While faculty research interests in the Dixon School are broad, we have a reputation for excellence in behavioral, field, and qualitative research methods across accounting topical areas including audit, tax, managerial, financial, and accounting ethics.
