Are you a highly organised and experienced project or service manager with experience within a digital context?
Are you passionate about the potential of digital to transform health inclusion?
Do you enjoy connecting with diverse stakeholders and service users?
The National Institute of Health Researcher's (NIHR) Clinical Research Network (CRN) are seeking a new Digital Service Delivery Lead to deliver our flagship digital public engagement services.
The NIHR Digital Engagement Team delivers online services that educate the public about health and care research in the UK and that enable the public to take part in current health and social care research. We deliver these flagship services on behalf of the Department of Health and Social Care and reach over 100,000 users each month.
The Digital Service Delivery Lead is responsible for the day to day delivery of these important online services. This role will suit a process driven individual with the ability to respond to urgent issues and oversee longer term projects. The role will supervise -through a matrix management system- colleagues who support core functions within the service, therefore a collaborative and facilitative approach is essential. The post holder will need experience with google analytics and using Content Management Systems but in depth technical development skills are not required as we work closely with an external development team. Experience in an agile digital environment is highly desirable as the post holder will be involved in problem solving, supplier coordination, managing the product backlog and supporting service development sprints. As the Senior Product Managers will be overseeing large scale development of the service, the post holder will need to be able to work independently.
At the University of Leeds, we are committed to providing a culture of inclusion, respect and equality of opportunity that attracts, supports, and retains the best students and staff from all backgrounds and from across the world. Whatever role we recruit for we are always striving to increase the diversity of our community, which each individual helps enrich and cultivate. We particularly encourage applications from, but not limited to Black, Asian and ethnically diverse people; people who identify as LGBT+; and people with disabilities.
We have identified that people with disabilities and Black, Asian and ethnically diverse people are currently underrepresented in this role and particularly welcome applications. Candidates will always be selected based on merit and ability.
