What will you be doing as a Business Relationship Manager with us?

We are looking for an IT Business Relationship Manager to join Digital IT at The University of Salford, where you will develop and leverage strong working relationship across our Business and within Digital IT to drive change aligned to our University strategy.

Our IT Business Relationship Manager will own senior stakeholder relationships within the Business and be accountable for; open and transparent communication plans, driving innovation and formalisation of strategic roadmaps.

In this role you will:
  • Use your experience to build and manage senior stakeholder relationships, including Professional Services and Academics
  • Lead regular Service Reviews to ensure transparent engagement with the Business
  • Implement and manage a programme of continual service improvement to drive operational excellence across Digital IT
  • Responsible for creation of Business cases which champion Business value rather than solutions
  • Identify Business requirements and work collaboratively with Architecture to create strategic roadmaps which reflect the Universities priorities/strategy
  • Contribute to our thinking on how Salford can transform the way it addresses equity disparities, embraces diversity and becomes more inclusive
