This is a part-time position for a Culinary industry professional who will help train students in the field. This instructor must ensure that a positive, upbeat, diversified, interesting and active learning environment occurs in both classrooms and labs, giving the students relevant and worthwhile experiences daily. The responsibilities include planning, organizing and implementing an effective instructional training program in a professional learning environment that guides, encourages and enables students to develop into industry professionals.

Dixie Tech is a public technical college located on a new state-of-the-art campus in St. George, Utah. The College has 25 Council on Occupational Education accredited programs that offer certifications in high-demand, high-pay professions.

This position would require that the employee would work on call as required, generally two days or less per week. The hours would be from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on weekdays (no Fridays). The position pays $24 to $30 per hour, depending upon qualifications and experience.
