Overview

Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is seeking a full-time and PRN Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurses (RN) to work with us in support of the VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System located at 11301 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90073.

The Registered Nurse in the Cath Lab is responsible for the perioperative care of Cardiology patients. They provide direct care and pre- and post- catheterization procedures. Primary duties are to perform in the Circulator role and Monitor role with potential to Scrub after advance beginner competency is met in Circulator/Monitor role.

Schedule: Monday to Sunday: multiple available. Full-time, PRN, and Travel candidates are considered for these roles.

Responsibilities

Cardiac Cath Lab RN duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Circulating and Monitoring Interventional Cardiology procedures (Left and Right heart caths), PCIs, TAVRs, LV support devices (Impella, IABP), device implantation, myocardial bx, pericardial effusions, and electrophysiology studies/ablations for outpatients and inpatients (ER/ICU) of the Veteran population
• Knowledgeable and competent with critical care concepts, advanced airway management, hemodynamic analysis and interpretation, vasoactive drips and titration, EKG analysis and interpretation, familiar and competent with invasive lines (central lines, arterial lines, pulmonary artery catheterization)
• Maintains excellent IV skills
• Cross-trains to the Observation unit to support Cardiology patient care needs
• May be required to float within the facility when called upon

Qualifications

• US Citizen
• Completion an accredited ADN, BSN, or MSN program
• Licensed as an RN in at least one state, territory, or commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia
• AHA BLS
• AHA ACLS
• At least one (1) year of Cardiac Cath Lab RN experience
• Critical care experience is preferred

All candidates must be able to:

• Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift
• Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist
• Lift up to 20 lbs
• Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance
• Push/pull with 30 lbs of force
