Who Are We: San Joaquin Valley College prepares graduates for professional success by offering Baccalaureate and Associate of Science Degrees and Certificates of Completion in business, medical and technical career fields. What we're looking for: Someone with tenacity, passion, excitement, and grit to join our team as a Registered Nurse Med/Surg Faculty at our Visalia Campus.
Are you an accomplished professional in your field who wants to give back to your community? Joining the faculty at SJVC is a great way to make a real impact on the next generation. Faculty members are primarily responsible for the teaching and learning process in the classroom. Faculty members facilitate and ensure student learning and mastery of course, program, and institutional learning outcomes as defined in the curriculum and course syllabi. Faculty are supported and supervised by the Academic Dean, Program Director and/or Division Manager.

- Bachelor's Degree or higher degree which includes course work in nursing, education or administration.
- Minimum 3 Years of Experience, Education, and/or Training in Current Practices of the Subject Area
- BRN approved course which includes practice in teaching Nursing
- Board of Registered Nursing
- Advanced degree and experience or training in an appropriate healthcare field(nursing, healthcare management, physicians, pharmacists, etc.)
