The Department of Accounting brings together internationally renowned academics who undertake research into, and teach, a wide range of banking and finance-related topics. The Department is supported by the research centre: Accounting Accountability and Governance (CRAAG), where staff are actively engaged in cross-disciplinary research.

About you

As a lecturer you will play a central role in furthering the research of the accounting department. You will bring to the role a strong professional reputation in teaching and research, including the ability to produce world class research through publications in leading academic journals. You may have some experience of research grant activity. You will act as a leader and ambassador for us across management and enterprise or other engagement activities.

Experience of teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels is essential, as is your ability to engage and inspire students and colleagues alike. Whether developing your own teaching approaches, acting as supervisor to your students or contributing to the effective administration of our department, you will enjoy scope to innovate and make a significant impact on teaching and research.
