Do you have a proven ability to carry out teaching and research in Analysis with links to the mathematics required in Data Science?

The School of Mathematics invites applications from academics who have an excellent research record, an aspiration to obtain external research funding and a passion for delivering first-class inspirational teaching and supervision in a top School (in the top 10 REF2014, ranked 9 for research power in REF2021) in a research-intensive UK University.

As a Lecturer, you will carry out research, teaching, and management within the school, faculty and university and contribute to academic leadership in the field of Pure Mathematics. Applicants whose research will reinforce the School's existing strengths in Mathematical Analysis and can provide links to data science are particularly sought.

With a vision and drive to develop a prestigious internationally competitive research portfolio as well as a passion for undertaking research-led teaching, you will make a significant impact on the performance, stature, and profile of research and student education at the University of Leeds. You will have a PhD in Mathematics or a relevant discipline.
