YOUR ROLE
  • As part of our innovative EIMEA product development team in the new Inspiration Center in Düsseldorf you actively support E-mobility projects and craft the future of automotive world
  • You will help to shape the future of sustainable mobility and develop modern battery adhesives which will be help de-bonding for circularity.
  • You can act as an ambassador for the scientific community of Henkel Adhesive Technologies both internally and externally
  • You collaborate with excellent team players around all functions and make yourself an industry expert
  • Research and develop groundbreaking technologies
  • Identify opportunities for new technology, products or performance improvements
  • You lead one or multiple R&D projects critical to business
  • You actively make specialized knowledge available to the organization
  • Identify and engage valuable external partners
  • Act as responsible for new research, IP, publications, technology roadmap
  • Secure IP position in own area of development
  • Steer and facilitate knowledge sharing and support project teams in solving problems
  • Act as an advisor for management and steering committees
  • Contribute actively in scientific publications and forums with papers and presentations

YOUR SKILLS
  • You have an adhesive development background, ideally with +2 years of job experience
  • You have preferably obtained a PhD and master's degree in science, chemistry, engineering and management
  • You have a proven track record in acquisition and execution of projects, effectively managing simultaneous workstream and a variety of stakeholders
  • You have a collaborative mind-set as well as strong sense of ownership, entrepreneurial spirit, hands-on mentality
  • You are experienced and enthusiastic about working in cross-functional and international teams
  • You are fluent in English language, German language skills are beneficial
