Registered Nurse, Emergency Department

Job Description
Saint Joseph University Medical Center is seeking experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurses to join their team! The Emergency Department is a comprehensive stroke center, resuscitation center with 24-hour cardiac catheterization, and a busy trauma center, Separate Pediatric and Adult Emergency Departments with a total of 88 treatment areas. We have a pediatric Emergency Department, an observation unit, and 2 sections that make up our geriatric emergency department. Candidates will float between all areas.

Qualifications:

• License: NJ RN License. Compact licenses are accepted. Temporary license will not be accepted. If a candidate has recently applied for NJ RN license and can provide proof of application, they will also be considered for this position (no new graduates).
• Certification: BLS through AHA.
• Preferred Certifications: ACLS, PALS, and TNCC are preferred, but Saint Joseph's will help with earning certifications if selected.
• Experience: 1+ years of Emergency Department RN experience.
• Education: BSN or enrolled in a BSN program. Must provide proof that you are currently enrolled in a BSN program.

Shifts Available:

• 11am-11:30pm
• 7pm-7:30am

Pay Scale: $43 to $52/hour depending on years of experience. Bonus opportunities available.

Shift Differentials:

• Week Evening: $4.30 (11am-11:30pm)
• Week Night: $6.45 (7pm-7:30am)
• Weekend Day: $2.15 (7am-7:30pm)
• Weekend Evening: $6.45 (11am-11:30pm)
• Weekend Night: $8.60 (7pm-7:30am)
