Associate Director for DEI and Student Experiences - Assistant/Associate Professor (Tenure-Track) Nurse Practitioner (22-23) *Full-time Faculty Positions*

*Part-time Faculty Positions*

DePaul University invites expressions of interest for a pool of qualified Part Time Faculty to teach courses in a variety of disciplines across all 10 colleges and schools. Individuals may enter expressions of interest by submitting their credentials to any posting for which they are qualified to teach. Postings are organized by college/school and department. Screening of individuals in the pool is ongoing, depending on curricular need and funding. Individuals will be contacted by the department if they reach the finalist stage for teaching a particular course or set of courses. The pool will remain in place until the closing date specified in the posting details; those interested in remaining in the pool beyond that time must resubmit. All individuals in the pool will be notified by email when the posting is closed.

*Responsibilities:*.indent-list ul {list-style-position:inside;}Responsible to the Director of the School of Nursing (SON), the Associate Director will lead the school in implementing strategic initiatives related to DEI and students' experiences. As a member of the nursing leadership team, the Associate Director will advise the Director, Associate Directors, faculty, and students on DEI matters. The Associate Director will assess community needs and work collaboratively across the school to enhance the experience for students, faculty and staff in the school. The Associate Director will provide training initiatives designed to increase awareness and support of DEI values.
Specific responsibilities include:

* Serving as the content expert in incorporating DEI into the curriculum and program offerings;
* Identifying curricular programs and course enhancement initiatives that expand support for diverse learning abilities and create inclusive classrooms;
* Building resources to support efforts related to diversity and culture;
* Serving as the faculty advisor and liaison for students' organizations to enhance the student's experiences.
As a tenure track faculty member, this individual will be expected to fulfill general faculty responsibilities including teaching, research, service and others.
DePaul's School of Nursing offers BSN, Master's Entry into Nursing Practice, MSN-specialty, RN-MSN (online), DNP, and Nurse Practitioner tracks and certificates. Nursing Programs emphasize community engagement, service learning in vulnerable communities, social justice and excellent safe quality nursing care. Students are in clinical sites at over 50 health care institutions.

*Required Qualifications:*
* Doctoral degree in nursing or related field required. MSN required if appropriate;
* Equivalent of three years clinical experience in nursing required;
* Licensed to practice as a RN and NP in the state of Illinois or eligibility for same with application in process required;
* Online teaching experience desired.
