Established in 2016, the college includes the three schools, Ernest G. Welch School of Art & Design, School of Film, Media & Theatre, School of Music, as well as the Dean's Office, Office of Educational Outreach, COTA Tech, and the Rialto Center for the Arts. *Overview*The Assistant to the Dean provides support to the Dean of the College of the Arts. The position keeps and organizes the Dean's calendar; drafts and prepares correspondence on behalf of the Dean; edits and proofreads correspondence and documents for the Dean's Office. Other responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:
Support the faculty review process, which includes tenure-track promotion and tenure, non-tenure track promotion, structured reviews, and annual evaluationsMaintain faculty records and track necessary faculty documentsManage and coordinate strategic projects for the Office of the Dean Support various College eventsAssist with departmental expenditures and coordinate the payment of invoices, travel arrangements and reimbursements
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and four years of related experience; or a combination of education and related experience.
