Job Description
Texas Health School is looking for a full time Vocational Nursing instructor, who will be responsible for teaching the Vocational Nursing (VN) curriculum to the students enrolled in the program.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Teaches assigned courses
  • Keeps a record of attendance
  • Is punctual and is reliable in attendance
  • Grades assignments, quizzes, and exams, as per the syllabi.
  • Attends meetings on a regular basis
  • Provides progress updates to the students
  • Develops academic plans for students who are not meeting the academic or attendance requirements required to be successful in the program.
  • Provides lab and tutorial support to the students
  • Oversee clinical assignments

Educational Requirement:
  • Associate of Applied Science in Nursing from an accredited institution
  • Bachelor of Science/Master of Science in Nursing preferred
  • Active RN license from the Texas Board of Nursing

Experience:
  • At least six months to one year teaching experience as a RN/VN/Clinical Instructor

Work Schedule:

Monday to Friday 8 am - 5 pm and occasional Saturdays.
