All candidates must demonstrate a commitment to community engagement related to these areas.

The School is also home to one of the few Ph.D. programs in Public Administration in the Great Plains region. The University is a Carnegie Doctoral Research University. Especially relevant to this position, the Omaha metropolitan area is home to two major medical centers (the University of Nebraska Medical Center and CHI Health), 15 hospitals, several major health care systems, and a range of community-based health organizations.
