The role
The University of Bristol's Coaching Service is highly valued. We are looking to appoint an experienced, professionally qualified and adaptable Coach to join the team which reports into Staff Development, as part of the wider Organisational Development team.
What will you be doing?
You will be providing specialist coaching support, input and direction across the range of priority coaching activities. You will be leading and supporting key aspects of the service and working closely with the team to maintain high standards of professional practice.
You should apply if
You will be professionally qualified and have an extensive track record of coaching a diverse range of clients, including at a senior leadership level. Evidence of being highly resourceful, working with complexity and adapting to both the needs of the client, team and organisational priorities is essential.
With proven experience of working creatively within a range of coaching models, tools and approaches, your demonstrable rapport building and communication skills will be essential.
A strong collaborative approach and experience of facilitation is important in this role. You will be working closely with your Coaching colleagues and with a range of different stakeholders to support effective outcomes for individuals and in some cases, groups or teams.
You will demonstrate an excellent understanding and insight into the Higher Education context.
Experience of leading key aspects of a Coaching Service or an aligned service is important; increasing the visibility of Coaching will depend on you taking a key role in related activities.
Highly self-motivated, you will be comfortable working autonomously as well as being a committed team member, supporting individual and peer professional practice.
