Are you interested in applying your exceptional data management skills to support the work of Clinical Researchers in the NHS?
Do to have the ability to work strategic and architectural level and handle the day-to-day detail of data quality management and data architecture?
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a highly motivated and innovative team at the NIHR Clinical Research Network's National Coordinating Centre.
You will be responsible for Data Management relating to all data held by the Clinical Research Network Coordinating Centre (CRNCC) and in supporting the overall Data Architecture. You should also expect to be taking on line management responsibilities as we have plans to increase the size of the Data Management team.
A key responsibility of the role is the ongoing management of the NIHR Reference Data & Terminology Service which provides high-quality organisational reference data to the CRN, our colleagues elsewhere in NIHR and the wider research community. You will be required to act as Product Owner for this service.
Reporting to the Enterprise Architect, you will define how data will be stored, consumed, integrated and managed by different data entities and services, as well as any applications using or processing those data. You should also expect to be taking-on line management responsibilities as we have plan to add a more junior Data Manager or Data Steward to the team.
At the University of Leeds, we are committed to providing a culture of inclusion, respect and equality of opportunity that attracts, supports, and retains the best students and staff from all backgrounds and from across the world. Whatever role we recruit for we are always striving to increase the diversity of our community, which each individual helps enrich and cultivate. We particularly encourage applications from, but not limited to Black, Asian and ethnically diverse people; people who identify as LGBT+; and people with disabilities.
We have identified that people with disabilities and Black, Asian and ethnically diverse people are currently underrepresented in this role and particularly welcome applications. Candidates will always be selected based on merit and ability.
