The subject group has a vibrant, friendly, supportive and engaged staff base with a shared vision for excellence and a learning by doing approach to teaching and learning, while being proactive in responding to changes in the nature of legal education.
We are currently shaping our offering to provide a route that fully prepares students for the new Solicitors Qualifying Exam and wholly embraces Law Tech, focusing strongly on how automation will impact the provision of legal services in the future. We are particularly interested in candidates with specialism in Law Tech and Artificial intelligence. Law at Salford Business School in has dedicated pro bono offering, SILKS (Salford Information and Legal Knowledge Scheme), home to Salford Law Clinic and other pro bono opportunities for our students and we are looking to expand these community outreach activities. We are also actively reviewing postgraduate taught delivery in Law at Salford and would particularly welcome applications from colleagues with experience of PGT delivery to support that activity.
Candidates should have excellent communication and organisational skills together with the ability, ideas and enthusiasm to create an outstanding student experience. The School seeks excellence in all aspects of student experience and looks for individuals with a passion for innovative pedagogies and the capacity to create and deliver new and highly contemporary modules.
