Job Title: Reliability Engineer (Hardware/Software) Job Function: Engineer Location: Santa Rosa, CA Compensation: The base salary/hourly rate range represents the anticipated low and high end of the USDM's compensation range for this position. Actual salaries/hourly rates will vary and will be based on various factors, such as candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role.
Full-time employees are eligible for health, vision, and dental insurance, life insurance, short and long-term disability, hospital indemnity, accident, and critical care coverage.
Both full and part time employees, who are at least 21 years of age, are eligible to participate in USDM's 401k plan. Full and part time employees may be eligible for paid time off.

Nature and Scope of Job

USDM is seeking a Reliability Engineer with Medical Device experience to join our team.

Primary Responsibilities

End to end hardware and software reliability engineering.

Qualifications

Experience in medical devices.
ASQ-CQE, CQA, CBA or equivalent certifications.
Experience in quality, reliability, design assurance, safety, or systems engineering.
Experience with and knowledge of medical device standards including ISO 13485 and ISO 14971.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment and build strong working relationships.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; ability to work well under pressure and maintain positive, enthusiastic attitude.
Strong written and oral communication skills including presentation skills.
High degree of initiative and self-motivation.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organization skills: ability to successfully balance and prioritize multiple ongoing projects/tasks.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve problems through analytical reasoning.

Education & Certifications

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science, or technical field
