YOUR ROLE
- You work hand-in-hand with the project managers and product owners in the design and development of new services & features
- You design new software solutions, define the technology stack for ML solutions, complementing the application landscape and present your decisions to stakeholders and the team
- You are responsible for coaching other colleagues on guidelines, technology, and best practices
- You use current ML technologies and integrate it in an agile development process
- In the team you work with modern models like Scrum or Clean Coding and take over a key role with your know-how
- As part of the team, you also contribute to the software quality process (e.g., automated built and testing)
- You use the possibilities of the cloud for dynamic, fast developments
- If necessary, you bring suitable external experts on board and coordinate the technical collaboration
YOUR SKILLS
- Completed studies in computer science or comparable qualification
- At least 6 years of professional experience
- Several years of practical experience in agile software development
- Enthusiasm for working in a large application landscape
- Core competency in designing, implementing, and integrating ML solutions in customer facing applications
- Strong passion and extensive know-how in Python, the Python ecosystem, SQL, and Spark
- Solid working experience in data-centric technologies: relational databases, NoSQL, messaging, streaming
- Deep knowledge of machine learning techniques
- Basic knowledge of Azure cloud service
