The NIHR Southampton Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) works together to translate scientific discoveries into new treatments, diagnostics and medical technologies for patients.

The NIHR has announced £25 million for the Centre over the next five years which is a major collaboration between University Hospital Southampton (UHS) and the University.

The Faculty of Medicine are looking to appoint a part time, fixed term Finance Manager - qualified or a finalist to lead on the finances of the BRC complex grant. This is working within a truly exciting area of the University.

You will be well organised, with excellent analytical and numeracy skills, with an eye for detail and capable of effectively managing a wide range of simultaneous projects/activities. The successful candidate will be self-motivated and able to prioritise their work in order to meet deadlines in a busy environment. Good communication, IT and customer service skills are essential to the role.

This role will include flexible working between Home, Highfield campus and/or University Hospital Southampton, which is where key stakeholders are based.
