Though a doctorate is preferred, candidates must have a master's degree in English literature from a regionally accredited institution. Candidates must also have documented experience with college-level teaching and the ability to demonstrate effective teaching of in-person, college-level courses, including the practice of active- and engaged-learning strategies.
