To add to our esteemed faculty, Pace University's Dyson College of Arts and Sciences invites applications for a full-time clinical faculty position in visual and audio production in the Media, Communication and Visual Arts Department in Pleasantville, New York to begin Fall 2023.
The department includes one of the largest majors in the Dyson College of Arts and Sciences, with high-quality undergraduate and graduate degree programs
Teaching assignments involve courses that focus on a combination of fiction film production and directing as well as sound design and editing. The hired candidate will work closely with faculty developing curriculum in the area of digital cinema and film and will be expected to use technical pedagogy tools for delivering course materials.
Candidates must have earned a M.A. or M.F.A. in communications or related fields, the capacity to teach across the media and communications curriculum, and possess 5-7 years of professional media experience to qualify for the position. Applicants should be proficient with a broad range of cinema cameras, DSLRs, mirrorless cameras, camcorders, digital audio recorders and post-production software (Adobe suite, Avid, tricaster studio production).
