GENERAL INTERNAL MEDICINE RESEARCH - MEDICAL COLLEGE OF WISCONSIN

The Division of General Internal Medicine (GIM) at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) is seeking faculty candidates to join our research section. Assistant professor and associate professor PhDs and MDs will conduct research among enthusiastic colleagues with a reputation for excellence.

Health Services Research Faculty(MD or PhD)
Implementation Faculty (PhD)
Health Economist (PhD)

Exciting opportunity to assist in building GIM's research section and working towards the vision to become a leader in creating evidence to change clinical practice, educational efforts, and local, regional, and national policy.
Work with a large health services research group with over $10 million in federal research funding.
Possible option of appointment at the Clement J. Zablocki VA along with the MCW appointment.

Candidates will conduct independent research and support multidisciplinary teams in developing collaborative grant applications and have an option to advise masters, doctoral, and medical students.
The infrastructure to support research efforts in GIM includes strategic research planning, facilitation of service and engagement of research faculty in the Division, Department and Institution, promotion of collaborative efforts with faculty in research centers throughout MCW, including the Center for Advancing Population Science (CAPS), facilitation of grant submissions and publications, and ongoing training and seminars.
