Medical Assisting Instructor

Job Description
Daytona College is seeking a Medical Assisting Instructor that is able to use their expertise to deliver a quality education to students. This position does require the individual to:

• Plan, prepare, and implement assigned curricula in a hybrid setting
• Teach classes as assigned in the Medical Assisting program
• Provide classroom/online instruction to include the guidance of assigned students through a successful learning process
• Adhere to appropriate mix of classroom, lab, clinical/externship activities
• Maintain all records to include: attendance (for academic purposes), grades, advising sessions, and overall progress of each student assigned
• Advise students on academic progress and document as directed
• Works closely with the Director of Education and Compliance Director
• Tutor students as required; advise and assist each student to ensure success
