Job Summary: The Department of Medicine, Division of Infectious Diseases is recruiting faculty to expand our established Transplant Infectious Diseases program. We are seeking outstanding candidates for program leadership, including a Director for Transplant Infectious Diseases, Program Director for the Transplant Infectious Diseases Fellowship as well as faculty on the Clinician Educator, Academic Clinician, or Modified Clinical tracks. This opportunity would add to an already dynamic Transplant Infectious Diseases faculty group providing services at the Medical University Hospital main campus and outreach locations. Faculty will participate in direct clinical and educational activities including rounding on our inpatient service teaching rotation, ambulatory clinics, telemedicine, weekly meetings, grand rounds, student, resident, and fellow educational conferences and mentoring activities. Interaction with residents, fellows and students is expected. Transplant Infectious Diseases faculty also work closely with other MUSC Medical and Surgical Transplant teams to provide the highest quality care.

About this position:

• Must be Board Certified/Board Eligible in Infectious Diseases
• MD or MD/PhD
• Inpatient and outpatient clinical activities
• Direct educational activities
• Clinical Research opportunities available
