Conveniently located in Morris County with easy access to Routes 287, 280, 80, 10, 24, and the Convent Station train station, Saint Elizabeth University which was established in 1899 by the Sisters of Charity of Saint Elizabeth resides on 150 acres of picturesque rolling hills and lush woodlands. The Foods and Nutrition Department is seeking to hire a part-time Adjunct Instructor. This person will teach in-person or hybrid undergraduate courses within the programs of the department including Basic Human Nutrition, Community Nutrition, Food Production and Food Service Management, Life Cycle Nutrition, and Medical Nutrition Therapy.

Course instruction includes use of online course management system (Moodle).

  • Master's degree in nutrition or related area, with a preference for those holding the Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential.
  • Previous experience teaching nutrition or food service courses at the college-level.
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills.
