The Department of Economics at the University of Southampton seeks to appoint Teaching Fellows in Economics for a fixed period of 18 months, with a commitment to excellent teaching. The post is expected to commence on January 2023.

Interviews are expected to be held in December 2022.

About You

You will have a degree and postgraduate qualification in economics and/or econometrics and must hold a PhD or be in the last stages of a PhD programme in Economics. Linking to our University Strategy which emphasises the triple helix of Research, Education and Knowledge exchange / Enterprise, you will be able to show the links between your research, education and, if appropriate, knowledge exchange / enterprise.

As a teaching fellow you will hold a central role in all activities aimed at engaging and inspiring students and colleagues alike.

The successful candidate will be expected to start in January 2023.
