UW Medical Center - Montlake is seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our award winning team.

Little about our unit

We have 150 deliveries a month (as a quaternary care hospital)

70% of our OB moms are high risk with neonates, medically complex co-morbidities.

We provide care for up to 14 antepartum patients, 9 L & D patients, 18 postpartum mother/baby pairs

We have antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum services.

We staff according to AWHONN standards.

We are a certified WHO-Baby Friendly Hospital.

Will provide outpatient services if needed.

"New to OB/perinatal" will also be considered

Schedule
36 hours/week, 12-hour night shifts.

Nurses with two or more years of labor and delivery nursing experiences will be consider for the following schedules.
36 hours/week 12 hours day shifts
36 hours/week 12 hours night shifts

UW Medicine includes Harborview Medical Center, UW Medical Center - Montlake, UW Medical Center - Northwest, Valley Medical Center, UW Neighborhood Clinics, UW Physicians, UW School of Medicine, and Airlift Northwest.
REQUIREMENTS:

At least one year of current/recent labor and delivery nursing experience

Have/obtain a current license to practice as a registered nurse in the state of Washington.

Graduated from an accredited school of nursing.
