UW Medical Center - Northwest has an outstanding opportunity for a 90% FTE (36 hours per week), evening shift REGISTERED NURSE to join our Emergency Department.

ABOUT OUR EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT

We are a 22-bed Level IV Trauma Center

We consistently hold 1:4 nurse to patient ratios

We provide specialized treatment for cardiac, trauma, and stroke patients

We have been recognized for providing one of the fastest times to treatment for cardiac patients in the Seattle region

Many of our RNs are Daisy Award Winners

Our RNs work in close partnership with physicians, phlebotomists, and medical assistants. Our Emergency Department is fast-paced and a great match for RNs interested in supporting a diverse population from our local and regional communities. SCHEDULE
3x12 shift schedule, evening shift only (11:00am-11:30pm, 1:00pm-1:30am, or 3:00pm-3:30am).

RESPONSIBILITIES
As an RN, you will:

Work alongside board-certified emergency medicine physicians, intensivists, and cardiac care professionals

Restore patients' health by following evidence-based nursing practices

Identify care needs

Monitor and administer medications

Provide personalized care with compassion, dignity, and respect

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

2 years of current or recent inpatient nursing experience

ACLS

An active Registered Nurse license in the State of Washington

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Previous nursing experience in a critical care environment

CEN (Certified Emergency Nurse)
