This is a Surgical Oncology unit that specializes in the care of bladder, prostate, kidney, and testicular cancer, as well as orthopedic oncology patients. Patients travel from all over the world to Krannert just for our world-renowned testicular cancer care. Clinical Nurses on this unit provide a positivity interacting with patients and team members. Nurses will also gain the ability to consistently learn and grow their skills and knowledge with team collaboration. Krannert is a recently expanded unit looking to add more high-quality nurses growing their nursing skillset in many ways.

Krannert is also known for gender affirmation surgery - a surgery that is rarely performed in other hospitals.

Requirements

Requires current state of Indiana license as Registered Nurse.
Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
Other sophisticated life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies
Requires Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
