Candidates must possess a Ph.D in Management and pursue a high-quality research program with the objective of publishing in such top-tier management journals asAcademy of Management Annals,Academy of Management Journal,Academy of Management Review,Administrative Science Quarterly,Journal of Management,Journal of Management Studies, andStrategic Management Journal. Research support in the department is excellent, including a one-semester, third-year research sabbatical; a large, computerized behavioral lab; a departmental subject pool; the availability of research and teaching assistants; access to databases (e.g., WRDS); and opportunities to apply for research grants. Candidates must also demonstrate potential for high-quality teaching. Primary teaching responsibility is in strategic management and corporate strategy, at the undergraduate and/or graduate levels. The teaching load will initially be three courses per year, and junior faculty are given minimal service requirements.
