YOUR ROLE
- Be part of the growing team for sustainability metrics at Henkel, with the following ambitions: Establish a forward-looking and industry-leading system to measure the environmental footprint along the entire value chain (from cradle-to-grave) of an entire business. Track our progress towards our ambitious sustainability targets and become active part of the community of pioneers at heart for the good of generations.
- Assume an active role in reporting of greenhouse gas emissions of Henkel with quantitative metrics
- Prepare and participate in audits in scope of our annual reporting activities
- Consult internal stakeholders on new sustainability KPIs tracked at corporate level
- Devise new processes to define, collect, validate and evaluate sustainability KPIs to gain insights, support accountability and drive actions
- Interpret results with regards to their business relevance and devise actions, present findings to internal stakeholders
- Participate in IT projects to implement advanced methods for end-to-end transparency in reporting
YOUR SKILLS
- Master's degree or comparable in the natural sciences, engineering or a business discipline, with specialization in quantitative sustainability reporting
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience
- In-depth knowledge of relevant sustainability standards, such as the Greenhouse Gas Protocol, ISO 14067
- Very good knowledge of Excel and working with advanced concepts such as pivot tables & joining of large tables
- Working knowledge of business intelligence and analytics tools such as PowerBI or Tableau or Python would be a plus
- Knowledge of database concepts as well as SAP systems, especially EH&S are advantageous
- Hands-on experience with project management would be a plus
- Fluent English and German language skills
- Ability to work independently and a demonstrated creative will to actively contribute to a field in transition
