THE TEAM DIGITAL BUSINESS CATALYST

In collaboration with our co-workers from our Business Unit Adhesives Technologies we develop sustainable new business models in the digital space. To build a solid foundation for our ideas we combine desk research and in-field user research to assess opportunities from three lenses viability, desirability and feasibility. Consequently, we develop prototypes from low to high fidelity and test them with users and B2B-customers and translate the insights into business models.

YOUR ROLE

• Support the venture building process from the viability perspective in the early phase of the innovation funnel
• Identify & explore opportunity areas for new digital business models
• Break-down and structure the different options for new venture ideas in each opportunity area
• Analyze relevant market trends, existing players as well as new start-ups to map the landscape of potential competitors and partners
• Design and prototype winning value propositions for new ventures based on customer-centric methods such as design thinking
• Develop winning business models that lead to successful MVP launches
• Support the team in conducting user research by carrying out interviews, documenting the findings and synthesizing the insights

YOUR SKILLS

• Enrolled in an education in the field of Business Administration, International Management, Innovation Management, Psychology or another relevant program; or seeking internship between bachelor and master studies in the above-mentioned fields
• Good spoken and written English
• Availability ideally as of March 2023 for 6 months in Berlin
• You enjoy working in diverse teams incl. flat hierarchies, close collaboration and an agile project set-up
• You are able to timely gather, structure, distill and visualize relevant insights from new opportunity areas and trends
• You have interest and passion for the business models of digital/tech companies, especially start-ups
• You are highly motivated with strong communication skills and an entrepreneurial mindset
