Job Description
Walla Walla Community College (WWCC) is seeking applicants for a full-time, tenure-track Chemistry Instructor at the Walla Walla campus beginning fall quarter 2023. We are seeking a creative, dynamic, and enthusiastic faculty member who will support the Science Division by providing quality instruction in the discipline of chemistry centered around student success. Qualifications: Master's Degree in Chemistry (closely related credentialing may substitute at the discretion of the College) and two years' experience teaching at the college level; experience as a teaching assistant or adjunct instructor may count towards the requirement.

Salary Range: Initial placement is generally $56,466 - $62,113 for a standard 176-day contract, dependent on qualifications (additional compensation for doctorate degree). This position will remain open until filled. To be included in the initial review, applications should be received by February 1st, 2023.

Essential Responsibilities:
\n\nTeach assigned classes at scheduled time and place\nDemonstrate professional skills appropriate to the teaching assignment\nProvide each student with a comprehensive syllabus at the beginning of the quarter\nProvide clear explanations, assignments, and directions\nConduct appropriate and frequent evaluations of student performance and provide feedback so students are aware of their performance throughout the quarter\nAssign and submit grades based upon results of evaluations and college grading policy \nMaintain student records and grades in the College's LMS\nPost and be available during office hours that are reasonable for student access\nMaintain course outlines and syllabi to reflect program curriculum\nReview and recommend program textbooks, materials, and technology\nUtilize available technology appropriate to assignment\n
