Dominican University seeks applicants for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Computer Science to begin in August 2023. Teaching is the primary responsibility; other responsibilities include scholarship and student advising. The candidate must be able to teach a wide range of undergraduate courses. Responsibilities consist of teaching 21 workload hours per academic year, advising, and service to the department, participation in university life is strongly encouraged.

Required qualifications: A master's or doctoral degree in computer science or a related field is required. Candidates who will complete their degree by August 2023 will be considered. Candidates with a master's degree must have significant experience in industry.
Preferred qualifications: A background in software development is preferred, but candidates with all background will be considered. Experience teaching racially minoritized students and demonstrated experience creating, organizing, and/or leading programs for minoritized student populations.
