YOUR ROLE
  • The Technical Service Engineer is focused supporting Henkel Adhesives customers in the packaging industry through laboratory and customer-based support.
  • Customer account responsibility for targeted packaging adhesives accounts.
  • Plans and executes laboratory projects to support customer/market projects in collaboration with field technical service and sales teams
  • Prepares laboratory reports which present findings and conclusions and prepares direct customer correspondence
  • Effectively communicates technical information directly to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develops portfolio knowledge in order to make product recommendations and identify gaps.
  • Develops and implements applications testing capabilities.
  • Actively supports the quality complaint investigation process.
  • Executes customer visits for complaint investigations, troubleshooting, product/technology demos, and training seminars as needed.

YOUR SKILLS
  • BS Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Material Science, Chemistry or a related discipline is required.
  • Previous experience or internship in a lab-based environment is required.
  • Adhesives or packaging industry experience is desired but not required.
  • Experience in troubleshooting complex/difficult problems.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multi-task with strong analytical skills.
