How You Will Achieve It

  • Regularly contribute and influence at the project team level.
  • Effectively collaborate with other members of Vaccine Research & Development and supporting partner lines.
  • Develop, optimize, and perform FACS-based and other biomarker assays to support preclinical and clinical studies.
  • Conduct cell-based immunoassays on preclinical and clinical samples in accordance with Good Clinical Laboratory Practices (GCLP) requirements.
  • Develop assays or animal models required to support various vaccine projects.
  • Develop tool assets for advancing systems biology group projects
  • Supervise colleagues in design and execution of experiments.
  • Identify, trouble-shoot, and optimize relevant assay systems, technologies, and readouts.
  • Conduct research that leads to publication in peer-reviewed journals and presentation of data at internal and external meetings.


Qualifications

Must-Have

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 9+ years of experience
  • Expertise and hands-on experience with mammalian cell culture, flow cytometry/FACS
  • Experience in immune cell isolation and characterization using multi-color flow cytometry
  • Broad experience in assessing T cell function
  • Technical knowledge of vaccine biology
  • Ability to perform complex data analysis
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills


Nice-to-Have

  • Master's degree and 7+ years of relevant experience
  • Extensive experience in vaccine research, innate immunology, or related fields, and a desire to continue in a laboratory-focused role

Work Location Assignment: On Premise
