Job Description
The NIBR Biologics Center (NBC) is seeking for a motivated postgraduate candidate to explore possibilities on the latest technology of PCR quantification.
Digital PCR (dPCR) is a new high-level technology for Copy Number Variation, Absolute Quantification, Rare target detection based on PCR partitioning.
Start date: As soon as possible
Duration: 8 months
Your responsibilities:
• Explore all activities around digital PCR, the possibilities of this method, and to compare dPCR vs ddPCR (droplet digital PCR)
• Establish strong and reliable standard protocols
• Find specific references for each cell expression systems or particles (as AAV)
• If time permits, to explore the dPCR technology at protein level (PICO, Protein Interaction Coupling Assay)

Minimum Requirements
What you’ll bring to the role:
• Recent master’s degree in Biology (graduation not longer than 6 months ago)
• Fluent in English, good communication skills
• Enthusiasm for molecular biology, experience with PCR, quantitative PCR or digital PCR
• Good organizational and planning skills
• Problem-solving oriented and working skillfully
• Soft skills: self-driven, motivated, willing to learn, strong team spirit
