Instructor, Speech and Communication
General Education and Developmental Studies
The full-time Instructor of Speech/Communication will teach 15 SCH per fall and spring semester. This faculty position will report to the Chair for General Education and Developmental Studies. Teaching assignments may include day, evening, and/or online classes. Locations may include on-campus, online, and dual credit. Other duties as assigned. Requires a Master's degree in Speech or Communication, or a Master's degree with 18 graduate hours of Speech or Communication courses related to courses taught on campus. Two years of teaching experience at a two-year college or university is preferred.Ability to deal with students, faculty, and staff members in a professional manner. Ability to plan, schedule, and manage projects and assignments. Position is security sensitive and subject to Texas education Code 51.215, which authorizes the employer to obtain criminal history record information.
