YOUR ROLE
- Define and implement the Data Governance Framework to ensure compliance to all relevant internal and external regulations
- Enhance the Henkel Data Catalog as the central tool to create data transparency and to automate Data Governance workflows
- Lead the regular Data & Analytics Governance Board to consult and align on Data Governance across projects
- Act as a Data Governance Subject Matter Expert for Data Owners, Data Stewards and Data Custodians at Henkel
- Assess latest market trends and industry best-practices regarding Data Governance
- Pro-actively identify opportunities for further improvement of the Data Governance Framework
- Work in a global, multinational Data & Analytics team in a dynamic and challenging environment
YOUR SKILLS
- Excellent university degree in computer sciences or comparable disciplines, ideally with a focus on Data & Analytics and Data Management
- At least 6 years of experience in large-scale Data & Analytics solutions
- Knowledge of modern data governance concepts, data modelling and data management
- Experience in Microsoft Azure technology stack (Synapse, Analysis Services, SQLDB, ADLS2, Power BI) and data catalog tools
- Excellent English language skills, German is a plus
- Exceptional initiative and strong analytical thinking
- Ability to drive innovation and to solve complex tasks in a dynamic and challenging environment
- Effective communication and persuasion skills
