To add to our esteemed faculty, Dyson College of Arts and Sciences of Pace University is seeking applicants for a non-tenure-track Lecturer position in the Master's in Publishing program to begin September, 2023. The position is at the University's campus in downtown Manhattan.

Position SummaryThe Lecturer will teach 18 credits/year, including the two-semester thesis class and one additional course each term, and will hold five office hours each week to meet and work with students. The Lecturer will also attend department meetings, participate in recruitment information sessions during the semester, and will recruit for the program at one or two universities in the metropolitan area each semester. The Lecturer will also work with the Director in reviewing the curriculum and recruiting new faculty.

Position Qualifications:

The successful Lecturer candidate must have an MFA, MS in Publishing, or a PhD, preferably in Creative Writing or English. They must also be up to date on the innovations and changes in the publishing industry, have a wide breadth of knowledge about the industry, and maintain extensive contacts with a variety of publishing professionals.
