Production Chemist

LSP is working with a key CDMO client of ours who is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Production Chemist with a recent BS degree to join our team for a 6-month contract role. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for supporting the production of chemical compounds for our clients in a GMP environment. This is an on-site role and requires you to work at their facility in Torrance, CA.

Location: Torrance, CA (On-site)

Education: Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry, Chemistry, or Life Sciences

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the production of chemical compounds in accordance with established procedures and protocols
• Maintain accurate documentation of all production processes and results
• Collaborate with team members to resolve production issues and improve processes
• Follow established safety protocols and Good Manufacturing Practices
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements:

• Fresh graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry, Chemistry, or Life Sciences
• At least 1 year of experience in a chemical manufacturing GMP environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
