ROLE SUMMARY

TheSenior Manager, Internal Medicine & Hospital, GMA, Eliquisis an integral member of the Internal Medicine & Hospital Global Medical Affairs Team and will report to the Senior Director, Global Medical Lead, Internal Medicine & Hospital, GMA, Eliquis..This individual will provide scientific/medical leadership and support primarily for Eliquis. In addition, they will bring their technical expertise and an in-depth understanding of medicine development to bear on all activitiesin partnership with cross-functional asset and medical partners.

This individual will represent Global Medical Affairs, as needed on behalf and/or under the direction/guidance of the Global Medical Affairs Lead as a brand and therapeutic area expert in scientific, strategic, and tactical discussions and presentations with internal colleagues, as well as external customers, experts, and investigators.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist Global Medical Affairs Asset Lead in the development and execution of strategies and tactics

•Participate in or lead the development and review of medical, promotional, and training materials as the therapeutic area expert, including participation in review committee and vendor collaboration
  • Assist with scientific searches, data summaries, internal training presentations as a strategic scientific/therapeutic area expert
  • Support the development and review of content for headquarters-led advisory boards, as well as advisor identification and engagement
  • Provide high-quality scientific/clinical input and review of educational training materials, educational grant requests, and publications as needed
  • Provide scientifically critical review and management of proposed and ongoing global medical educational grants and investigator-sponsored research studies
  • Assist in partnership with Patient Health Impact team to analyze and publish real-world data studies as needed
  • Assist medical leads with therapeutic area/asset data gap analyses
  • Organize and develop medical content for congresses, symposia, promotional speakers and advisory boards and lead or participate in such activities in full compliance with Pfizer policy
  • Participate in or lead the generation and execution of medical congress strategies and tactics in accordance with Pfizer policy
  • Assist with external engagement initiatives such as patient advocacy assessments, patient centered programs and professional organization interactions
  • Collaborate and ensure communication alignment among cross-functional medical partners (country medical, field medical, medical information) and other stakeholders
  • Provide support to medical affairs-led meetings


QUALIFICATIONS

Terminal Doctorate degree (PharmD, PhD, or Doctor of Nursing Practice) with 2+ years of relevant experience required.Medical Affairs experience in the cardiovascular field is preferred.

•Highly motivated with demonstrated track record of high performance and excellence

•Strong strategic skills including creativity and effectiveness in proactively identifying and addressing challenges

•Capable of comprehending and communicating in a clear, concise manner a large amount of scientific information

•Strong interpersonal skills and excellent verbal communication and presentation skills.

•Proven ability to facilitate open discussion and debate among key stakeholders and build internal and external relationships
  • Well-organized with the ability to be flexible, prioritize multiple demands, and effectively lead in a matrix organization.


NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

Work Location Assignment:Flexible

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $127,400.00 to $212,200.00. In addition, this position offers an annual bonus with a target of 17.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program. Benefits offered include a retirement savings plan, paid vacation, holiday and personal days, paid caregiver/parental and medical leave, and health benefits to include medical, prescription drug, dental and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans. Salary range does not apply to the Tampa, FL location.

Relocation assistance may be available based on business needs and/or eligibility.
