Manager, Strategic Supplier Partnership is accountable for deployment of the Sandoz strategic third party/ supplier strategy in close collaboration with Director strategic supplier partnership.
• Accountable for management and operations of all global strategic suppliers
• Support supplier selection, qualification, developing supplier management policies, contract management, third party risk management, governance & oversight, transitions, outsourcing related budget management, planning supplier audits, and relationship management.

Your key responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Management and oversight of third-party suppliers supporting Sandoz patient safety globally and cross-divisionally.
• Responsible for oversight, and operational performance of global supplier(s) in collaboration with functional heads.
• Responsible for ESP governance meetings, issues / escalation management and tracking.
• Support implementation of ESP performance management tools and systems in consultation with different stakeholders including Functional Heads, Quality Assurance (QA), Information Technology (IT), Procurement, Finance, and others (as appropriate).
• Support transition of global activities from high cost to low-cost countries and suppliers in alignment with the overall objectives and long-term goals of the organization.
• Facilitate and manage effective communication at leadership levels between organizations for accuracy, completeness, and integrity of business.
• Support partner organizations during audits and inspections for logistics, documentation, CAPAs and corresponding audit compliance with closure of finding (if any), alert Novartis management of pending compliance issues, audit findings at partner site
• Represent Sandoz patient safety in global cross-functional and cross-divisional business forums.

Minimum Requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:

• BS or BA, advanced degree such as MS, MBA or PhD
desired. Clinical experience highly desirable
with ≥ 5 years of pharmaceutical industry experience, preferably broad experience in pharmacovigilance, knowledge of drug safety regulatory requirements and general project management desirable.
• ≥ 2 years people management and development experience desirable but not mandatory
• Significant experience with and demonstrated success in working on global cross-functional diverse teams.
• Excellent negotiation, conflict resolution, decision making, problem solving, communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills.
• Results driven, self-starter with proactive working style, committed and accountable, transparent working style also under pressure.
• Excellent planning, organizational and computer skills
