Assistant Scientist- bioanalytical lab

Alturas Analytics, Inc. is seeking a collaborative, detailed-orientedAssistant Scientistto join our team. This position is entry-level, on the scientist track however, previous education/experience may lessen time in training program. There are ample opportunities for growth and promotion in our highly progressive laboratory.

Essential Duties and Tasks:

• Maintains all lab supplies (including purchase, receipt, stock, inventory, and disposal)
• Prepares various reagents and solutions for laboratory use
• Assists laboratory personnel to enable efficient laboratory operations
• Performs routine facility maintenance and inspections
• Performs sample custodian duties including tracking, verifying and distribution of samples
• Performs QC review of data

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a physical, biological or chemistry science required (expected fall 2022 graduates are encouraged to apply)
• Laboratory coursework required
• 1-3 years of work experience preferred
• Working knowledge of MS Office

Skills and Abilities Requirements:

• Skills in verbal and written communication
• Ability to interpret procedures, regulations, and guidelines
• Ability to enter data and work accurately with computers

Alturas Analytics, Inc. is a bioanalytical laboratory providing expert GLP and Non-GLP LC-MS/MS and GC-MS/MS quantitation and PK/TK analytical services in both small and large molecules.
