We are partnered with an innovative public relations agency seeking strategic thinkers with advanced scientific backgrounds to join as a Vice President. Focusing on Biotech accounts, you will be tasked with overseeing scientific content, strategy, and media relations for several clients. The Associate Director will play a key role in driving the agency's success in national public relations activities. Working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure client success in product communications, safety and scientific accuracy.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and lead the implementation of public relations strategies that support the company's product portfolio and promote the safe and effective use of blue chip products
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including clinical development, medical affairs, regulatory, and commercial teams, to ensure the successful launch and ongoing communication of product benefits, safety, and efficacy to key stakeholders
  • Partner with internal and external experts to develop and disseminate scientific and medical information to healthcare clients and cross-functional teams, including slide decks, symposia and congress materials, and more
  • Collaborate with key opinion leaders and thought leaders to ensure their active engagement in the company's public relations activities
  • Ensure that all medical communications activities are compliant with regulatory guidelines and company policies


Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in public relations agency field, or in-house biotech communications
  • Strong understanding of the biotech industry, including the regulatory environment and the drug development process
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively present scientific and medical information to a variety of audiences
  • Strong leadership skills, including the ability to manage cross-functional teams and projects
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally, as required
