Sandoz Global Development are now seeking a Technician/Associate Scientist to join our team in Sample Logistics Bioanalytics Holzkirchen, Munich, German.

Responsibilities

• Logistics and administration of serum samples from preclinical and clinical studies
• Assisting in the creation of all sample-relevant study documents (LabManuals, LabProtocols, ...)
• Close cooperation with external partners (CROs, central laboratories) and the internal bioanalytical laboratory team (laboratory heads, analysts)
• Recording of new study samples in the sample management system (LIMS) including documentation
• Assist in clarifying ambiguities regarding sample information
• Freezer storage location management
• Responsibility for sample storage and retrieval, destruction, archiving, relocation
• Creation of documents (SOPs, study reports)
• Organizational activities to maintain laboratory operations
• Participation in project teams and presentation of results
• Support in maintaining the GxP / ISO17025 system
• Work and documentation according to these standards
• Compliance with safety guidelines (HSE)

Minimum Requirements

What you will bring to the role

• Training as a technical assistant with at least 2 years of professional experience or a Bachelor of Science degree with at least 2 years of professional experience
• Experience with laboratory information and management (LIMS) systems and in sample management
• Good knowledge of relevant software (MS Office, LIMS systems)
• Industry experience
• Very good knowledge of spoken and written English
• Experience working in a regulated environment (GxP / ISO17025 preferred)
