The College of Arts & Sciences seeks applicants for an Accounting Assistant in the Dean's Office. This position will be primarily responsible for entry of accounting documents from across the College. Candidates who are detail-oriented, self-motivated, and financially literate are encouraged to apply. This is a 12-month, hourly position with a start date as soon as possible. Candidate review will begin as soon as February 17 and continue until the position is filled.

Department Description and Cultural Expectations

The College of Arts & Sciences is the largest unit at the USD, with 30 majors serving ~2000 undergraduate students, and 26 graduate degrees serving ~450 graduate students. The college employs approximately 175 faculty and 30 staff across 17 academic departments encompassing Humanities, Social Sciences, and Science & Mathematics. The Dean's Office-the central hub of the college-is a friendly environment, and this position will work closely with a Financial Manager and Program Assistant in the finance area.
