Quality Control Chemistry Associate

Overview:

The Quality Control Chemistry Associate I is responsible for contributing to key functional, tactical, strategic and operational aspects of the Quality Control chemistry group at the RTP site. This position interfaces with QC Chemistry, Quality, Planning, Warehouse, and Manufacturing customers.

The Chemistry Associate I's responsibilities include:

• Release testing of in-process, stability and finished goods using compendia (USP, Ph. Eur, and JP/JPE) and analytical methods, as well as validation/transfer of analytical methods, and technical support of QC investigations.
• Entering data into electronic laboratory information management system and inventory control systems, and completing all training/course requirements while maintaining 100% compliance on all assignments.
• May also support the Supervisor/Manager for activities related to compliance with GMP, and identifying corrective actions on the floor.
• Able to work effectively both independently and within a team framework, requiring both robust written and verbal communication skills.
